Marty is a practicing special education lawyer with over three decades of experience in the field. Prior to becoming an advocate, Marty served as an impartial hearing officer (“IHO”), overseeing thousands of cases across New York State. His extensive experience as an IHO has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of special education law and the challenges faced by students and their families.

Marty is well-versed in navigating the intricate legal landscape of special education, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (“IDEA”), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”).

Marty is currently available to represent families in over thirty New York State counties.
